A small group of Bullington lovers are preparing a scrapbook filled with newspaper articles and photographs, in order to establish a record of the growth and development of the Bullington Horticultural Learning Center. Bullington began in 1999 when John Murphy, the current director, came on the scene. In about 2005 it was “discovered” by the Extension Master Gardeners of Henderson County, and with donations of time and hard work, many structures have been built and many activities for youth and adults are now offered. The scrapbook we are preparing is a testament to John Murphy’s expert direction and the devotion of the many Extension Master Gardener Volunteers.
