Collapse ▲North Carolina Botanical Garden and NC State University have been proud to provide high-quality online therapeutic horticulture courses since 2020, in a format and at a rate that is as inclusive as possible for busy professionals, volunteers, and students wanting to incorporate TH into their practices. We have not changed our prices since we began offering these courses, but we have now made the decision to recover some of our rising course development and maintenance costs with a moderate price increase, effective November 1, 2024.
On that date, TH1: Introduction to Therapeutic Horticulture will go from $359 to $400, and the remaining three courses (TH2, TH3, and TH4) will go from $409 to $450. These increases will help our team to continue delivering high-quality courses to our learners in North Carolina as well as all over the United States and the world, and also help us in growing some of our new ideas!
Since 2020, our program has welcomed over 500 students into our courses, and over 50 so far have earned the four-course Certificate in Therapeutic Horticulture, with more to follow later this year! We are proud of our students and our courses, and remain committed in our partnership to provide high-quality TH instruction at a reasonable cost.
To secure your seat in upcoming course sessions before the increase, please register by the end of October 2024 for any open courses listed in our Course Catalog. To locate our courses, enter “therapeutic horticulture” into the catalog search bar and scroll down to find our four courses, open for registration through 2025. Please direct any questions to Amy Bruzzichesi, Therapeutic Horticulture Program Manager, afbruzzi@ncsu.edu.
